RetailBiz ("we", "us", "our") operates a hosted retail business management platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect information when you use our website, request a demo, or subscribe to our service.
Information we collect

- Contact information: Name, business name, phone number, email address and location when you fill out forms on our website or contact us directly.
- Account information: Username, password (stored securely hashed), role and login activity for users of the RetailBiz application.
- Business data: Products, sales, customers, stock levels, expenses, debt records and reports entered by you and your staff into the RetailBiz platform.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information and usage logs for security and service improvement purposes.
- Communication data: Messages, support tickets and demo request details you send to us.
How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, maintain and improve the RetailBiz platform and website
- Process demo requests, sales enquiries and customer support

Business data
Data you enter into RetailBiz โ including sales records, product catalogues, customer information, stock levels, expenses and financial reports โ is stored securely on our hosted infrastructure. You retain ownership of your business data. We process it solely to provide the service you have subscribed to.
Each business tenant's data is logically isolated from other tenants on the platform. Access is controlled by role-based permissions configured by your business administrator.
Staff and user data
When you add staff users to your RetailBiz account, we store their name, contact details, role, login credentials and activity logs (such as sales recorded, stock adjustments and audit trail entries). Staff members should be informed that their actions within the system are logged for accountability purposes.
Payment and subscription data
Subscription plan details, renewal dates and payment records are stored to manage your account. Payment processing may be handled by third-party providers. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers. Billing contact information is used for invoicing and subscription management.
Data security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for data in transit
- Secure password hashing for user credentials

- Tenant data isolation on our hosted infrastructure

We retain your business data for as long as your subscription is active. Upon account termination, we may retain data for a reasonable period to allow export or recovery, after which it will be deleted or anonymised unless we are required by law to retain it longer.
Website contact form submissions and demo requests are retained for up to 24 months for sales and support follow-up purposes.
Your rights
